Here is our month long crafting challenge! I am not posting every day, none of us need to be glued to our screens every day. I intend to post every few days with a small challenge or question. Respond to each of these posts (don’t worry, you can go back in the history to make sure you haven’t missed any!) and be entered to win a small prize! You can only enter once per post (though you can comment as much as you want)/per social media platform. In other words, you may respond to the same prompt on: our blog, Instagram, or Facebook.
Just a quick post today. Please share your WIP (work in progress) and if you are like me, you have several. Please share a photo and tell us why you are making it. Do you have a deadline? Who taught you this skill?
Here is mine:

This blog is one of the steps we are taking to be more self-sustaining. We’re glad you are along for the ride!
Rachel has been a SAHM and a Humanities Teacher. Chris is a Welder and Fabricator as well as an expert in many of their fields like hydraulics, snow plows, auto mechanics,...We would prefer to live simply and spend every day together.
Our children are 6th grade to early college, as two boys and two girls.
We have gardened, hunted, canned, and created our whole life. We began raising chickens and turkeys last year. After a few close encounters with neighborhood raccoons we finally had a fully secure coop and we have added 18 more chickens, replaced the two turkeys, and have three ducks.
This blog covers all sorts of aspects of our life, but often relate directly to Homesteading.
