As soon as I started listening to this second book, I immediately felt like an old friend was reading to me. Mr Fife has such an expressive voice for the different characters, but reads through the descriptions so smoothly that one can just slip into the scene and be immersed in the story. He is one of my favorite narrators!

Third Week of January Reading Challenge Updates
While my intention may be to update my progress on Reading Challenges each week, I will definitely need your help to remember! Here are my updates for Week Three of January.
Release week of Sleep Robin Hood
Recently I reviewed an advanced reader copy (ARC) of Sleep Robin Hood, by M.C. Frank.
The author, MC Frank, just offered me this information to give to you for the official book release on January 20th.
Review of Orkney:: Romance, Magic and Murder on the Scottish Isles by Yaakov C Lui-Hyden
Orkney:: Romance, Magic and Murder on the Scottish Isles by Yaakov C Lui-Hyden pulls you in and won’t really release its talons until long after you have finished reading. This book is abrasive and filled with adult language and themes, but so very enjoyable.
Book Review of Perception and Deception III

Round Up Of My Favorite Books Read This Fall
…some books just stay with you for a long time after you close the cover. These and other books I’ve read recently can be found here.
Book Review of Emotional Intelligence
I really like how the author lays out different examples to show how we may react with different levels of emotional intelligence and various skills. Readers can either identify themselves in these quick examples, or think about others in these scenarios. The imagery of these examples is vivid allowing the reader to instantly picture the scene, but short and not drawn out or scolding.
Book Review of Magic Exists
I just read Magic Exists by Kim Booth. I was lucky enough to actually have time to just sit and read this book in one day, but it has a strong storyline and could have been read in bits and pieces in stolen moments of time over a longer course of time. I absolutely recommend this book to a wide YA audience!
